Description

Fastbridge, the online creative agency for Initiative Media Group developed an interactive ad for Vodafone with the objective of promoting and communicate the SMS Games service, available for all those that have a Vodafone mobile phone.Objectives: The main goal was to create an ad that would catch the user’s attention, and be effective enough to generate traffic to the advertiser’s web site. To achieve this, interactivity has been explored to attract the user and lead him to interact with the ad by giving him the sensation of playing with the ad but without revealing the brand, or the service, until the end of the animation of the ad when the message is finally revealed. In summary, the ad invites the user to play the game by interacting with the cellular phone via his internet browser. All these actions are in a fun and humorous context where the web design, sound effects and Vodafone’s institutional jingle have a special role. This online ad has already been considered a case-study in Portugal and has achieved a CTR average of 3%Target Group: Males between the ages of 15-24, who were essentially students.
