Description

The film opens in a phone shop where a couple are finalising their new contract. The phone shop assistant pops out back to pick up the paperwork and the couple start to think about where they’re going to head for lunch. The guy suggests McDonald’s and the woman’s eyes light up at the thought of the South Carolina Stack. From just describing the authentically American flavours, she begins to transform into her bold American alter ego, a lavish country singer. Her partner is tempted by the sound of the delicious burger and, by the end, he too goes all out American, dressed as a stylish cowboy.

We finish on the phone shop assistant returning, dressed head to toe as an American football player as he happens to have already enjoyed the South Carolina Stack for an early lunch

The British mundanity remains throughout, and neither character reacts to the transformation.
