Description
We wanted to create a campaign that highlighted the barriers that these Athletes overcome without those barriers becoming the focus. The participants are true athletes and we tried to capture that emotion.
Execution
After attending Special Olympics events, we saw so many expressions of triumph that we wanted to incorporate that feeling into our designs. What these Athletes are able to accomplish is truly incredible, which is what inspired the call to action, “Witness True Feats of Extraordinary.” By showcasing the Athletes’ faces and actions together in one silhouette, we were able to bring that idea to life.
Outcome
Special Olympics Southern California excitedly reached their volunteer and participation goals for their games as well as increased the number of spectators.
