Description
We created a simple, impactful solution that brings the loss of life and the freedoms
that die along side it together in an arresting visual. Regardless of where these murders
are happening in the world, the creative evokes a visceral reaction.
Execution
We used simple, graphic illustrations of journalists who had been killed. We portrayed
“the truth” that was lost with their murders in the form of a comic-book style speech
bubble. In this case, however, the speech bubble also represents a growing pool of
blood. This line appeared in all creative: When journalists are targeted, the truth dies.

Outcome
The campaign launched in February, 2016. Results are pending.
