The spot against silence uses radio in an unusual and disruptive way. It’s a radio spot that ran where no other spot runs: tunnels. In partnership with important radio stations, we’ve broken the silence of the radio. We’ve identified tunnels where there is absolutely no radio signal to install FM transmitters to broadcast our message. By switching on the advertising just as the signal cuts out, the campaign ensures it’s targeting the audience at precisely the right moment, achieving maximum impact for the medium.
Outcome
The project managed to get both people’s and media’s attention and ignite the discussion about human rights and the importance of reporting violations so authorities can do something to defend everyone’s rights. By making people think and discuss, our goal was fulfilled. Silence was broken after all.
