Description

The Spotify Singles were a series of fun insight- and data-driven experiments that explored the world’s personal relationship with music.

The first “Single” was Taste Rewind, a musical time machine that - based on your taste today – showed you what you’d be listening to if you lived in another era.

Next was Found Them First. Finally, a way for music fans to prove they were really into that band before they were famous. We used listening data to show you all the bands you discovered way ahead of the pack.

Then came MixtUp, which played with the insight that couples and friends don’t always love the same tunes. By entering your favorite artist and your friend’s favorite artist, your learned your degrees of separation and got a playlist that seamlessly filled the gap.
