Background
Etna is a furniture retail store with the slogan “Design within your reach”. Their brand positioning is to offer sophisticated furniture at an accessible price. We were asked to promote this concept digitally and generate consumer engagement on Etna’s Instagram profile.
Idea
We used Instagram Stories to test different room decorations, by creating Stickers from Etna’s products.
Strategy
There are many ways to test different decorations. But what could me more “Design within your reach” than just use your own Instagram, rather than download apps or use augmented reality? By using Instagram Stickers, we have taken a popular and current social behaviour to create something new, and Etna will be the first brand to own it. Other than that, it was an opportunity to create a relevant “always on” content strategy that can be fed with new assets based on their needs for each new campaign.
Execution
The stickers were upload through the GIPHY platform and could be found on Instagram Stories by just typing “etna”. To promote the campaign, we reached out to consumers with quick tutorials showing how to use our Stickers. As it became part of the “always on” social content for the brand, the campaign is still going on.
Outcome
About 300 thousand people viewed our tutorial video. In seven days, the number of Etna's stores visitors grew 15% compared to the average. All oh this was achieved with zero media investment.
