Execution

The solution was a global first. We designed an interactive game on Facebook, where the user had to score goals by controlling a life-size ball-kicking robot. The user could control the angle and power of each shot through the gaming platform. The goalkeeper robot randomly moved across the goal to make scoring difficult. The participation grew beyond all expectations and thousands of Facebook posts endorsed this fun activation.

The projected response rate lay between 70% - 80%

Outcome

We gained 10,000 new Facebook friends with over 6,000 actual participants playing the game, achieving more than 300,000 goals. In addition we toured two online game sets of augmented reality through leading hypermarkets, enabling consumers to score goals on-site through a virtual ball that reacted to the game set on-screen.
