Execution
Stride decided to build special posters made out of Granite, natural volcanic rock that’s known to last centuries. A poster that is etched, not printed. A poster that will not just be read and enjoyed by the brand’s current audience but also their grand, grand, grand, grand, grand, grand, grand-children. In fact, a geologist predicted that given the rainfall and snow in Boston, these 770 lb posters should last until 4015. That’s ridiculously long-lasting!
Outcome
Around 50,000 people tried the booth in LA and over 82,800 in New York. Many logged on to stridegum.com to download the digital version of their pictures. The aged portraits are making their way around blogs and social networking profiles. Stride sales spiked approx. 7% in both cities.
