Background

Beyond showing film footage, how do you convey the extreme action of a film in still imagery or in traditional OOH placements - all while getting people talking? That was the challenge we set out to solve. We *literally* brought the unrelenting action of Netflix’s summer blockbuster, Extraction 2, to people’s fingertips by creating a first-of-its-kind OOH installation featuring the film’s hero Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) that actually drips "sweat."

Outcome

Our action-packed OOH stunt helped Extraction 2 explode into culture and become Netflix’s biggest film franchise to date. It garnered countless headlines in both trade and consumer press, including landing on the front page of The Guardian, earning Editor’s Pick from Ad Age and Ad of the Day from The Drum, and it contributed immensely to Extraction 2 crossing the 1 billion social impressions mark - the only Netflix Film to achieve this in 2023, truly bringing new meaning to "sweaty marketing."
