Description

Our challenges were: to develop different recipes that even small children could enjoy, and to increase the sales of Meiji’s existing products. We set our goal to make children happy by their making their very own one-of-a-kind sweet, easily and safely.

Execution

Differently from cooking with knives and stoves, our new recipes allow children to easily make their own original sweets, easily and safely. The recipe was formed into booklets and displayed as POP, in order to secure the selling space for Meiji’s group of products.

Outcome

'Sweets DecoRelation' secured selling space at over 5,000 supermarkets nationwide, and held over one hundred workshops at retail stores throughout Japan. It was soon featured on TV programmes and magazines, as a hot topic for children to learn about the joy of making sweets on their own. As a collection of the recipes, the recipe book was also published. The most importantly, this campaign brought hearty experiences not only to the children, but also to the fathers and mothers who receive their kids’ sweet gifts.
