#TEACHnow takes a page from the hard-core action-packed military recruitment pieces we’ve all come to know well. In this vein we see a series of close-up shots of young men and women preparing for their first day at their new job. Everything is in slow motion and highly stylized. There is an abundance of sun flares as these men and women get ready to conquer their new job. Images of them preparing for work as well as their first lesson are edited in an overly dramatic way. Part serious piece, part parody, the spot is intended to humorous while opening minds to a new way of thinking: Teaching these days is not what you think. And the rewards are better than you realize. These teachers will not only ‘make a difference’, but they will do much more. They are disruptors and innovators with lasting influence. This is the new paradigm where technology and creativity rule the day. The benefits are immeasurable. For them, the classroom is their startup.
