Execution
Created the UPS Team Performance Index, a sports index featuring NCAA (US college) sports teams. We measured each team's offense, defense, miscues, ball handling and win/loss record to demonstrate the connection between logistics, efficiency and winning.
Solution was to establish the TPI as a credible index to sports writers, fans, the general public and the business community to thus demonstrate the connection between logistics and winning -- in sports and in business. We partnered with Sporting News to leverage their organic audience. The audience was encouraged to engage with the TPI though partnerships, social media and rich media placements.
Outcome
High click through rates and increased time on site have have exceeded expectations, with CTR of 0.13% and an engagement time of 5 minutes.
Offer completion rate for the business promotion are higher than anticipated, with 85% of form completion (anticipated rate was 15%). 58% email opt-ins are also higher than original goal, demonstrating that our audience is interested in further conversation with UPS.
