Ireland has the fourth highest rate of teen suicide in Europe. Anxiety, depression, self-harming and eating disorders are also on the rise amongst Irish teenagers and children.

But what are the reasons? A specially commissioned survey by The Irish Examiner, in conjunction with a leading Irish teen mental health advocacy group, sought to shed light on the drivers by talking directly to Irish teenagers and revealing the results to a concerned public in a special report.
