Background
Nissan has always believed that technology should help humans. Inspired by this mission, NissanConnect is a suite of integrated technology designed to help Nissan owners connect with their vehicles and increase safety, no matter who is behind the wheel. The brief was to advertise the two main safety features of NissanConnect – Speed Alert and Boundary Alert – with a radio spot for both.
Execution
Ah, the teenage years. A time for questionable fashion decisions. For taking photos you’d rather not show future employers. And for listening to the heart, because the grey matter in the head is still developing some very important wrinkles. Teens can sometimes let their emotions get the better of them – that’s just part of growing up. And that’s all fine…until those emotions get behind the wheel of your shiny, brand-new Nissan. Thankfully, NissanConnect exists – with features like Speed Alert and Boundary Alert. They’re features designed to give you peace of mind whenever your teenager is behind the wheel, so you can be confident that the only thing they’re following are the rules of the road.
Outcome
Having only recently run, we have yet to get a sense of any uptick in brand lift, however the spots have been received favourably by both PR and press
