These and almost all the year’s 100 mailings were flat mail (or “under the door mail” as they are called in Argentina). They were economical (average unit cost including postage us$ 0.20). They all had attention-getting formats.Telecom’s goal is a 1.5% inbound response rate on this type of mailing. The average for all the hundred mailings sent in 2006 was 1.8%. The average of our 10 favourites of the year was 3.2%, proving yet again, good creative sells.
