Description
The test drive banner. A rich media banner that allowed users to take the GTi on a virtual test drive using their phone's accelerometer, and tailored to their location. With the ultimate prize of winning the car for a weekend in real life.
Execution
Simply pushing the start button, like you do in the car, the GTi drove out of the banner and launched Google maps, placing you next to your closest dealer. To steer you tilted your phone in the direction of your choice, and a navigation system showed you where to go. To give users a taste of the GTi feeling, Sports mode could be engaged to send the car into ultimate speed.
The goal was to reach the end point to win the actual car for a weekend test drive.
