Description
The idea was to use a technical design solution to form a highly informational poster. Contained within the poster were lists of past winners, and general facts pertaining to the history of the Marathon.
Execution
The budget for the Lincoln Marathon poster was very limited, but that didn't stop a great design from being produced. Agency services were donated (concepting, design, copywriting, and retouch). We were also able to get photography and paper donated. The only expense was printing, and that came to $750.
Outcome
After 700 posters were produced, volunteer teams went around the city of Lincoln and found patrons who would display the posters in their establishments. The remaining posters were sold to help pay for the printing.
