Background
Hotels.com's mission was to prove that they are the brand that is best placed to meet their Hotel stay needs by delivering on curation & expertise. Leaning on the insight that it all starts and ends with the right hotel, Hotels.com aimed to increase category growth with this campaign, convincing travelers to book through Hotels to make the most of your trip.
Execution
“Lo Boob Oscillator” by Stereolab is fun and avant-garde, just like our teen artist and hotel. It transports you to the halls of the Palau Fugit, adding to the creative aesthetic of the hotel. The lyrics, describing the uniqueness and visionary aspects of the moon, paint a vignette that reflects the ethos of our young artist. This deep cut leaves viewers that are in the know surprised and delighted by its use while grabbing the attention of those unfamiliar with it, sparking conversation and catapulting the brand into the cultural zeitgeist.
