Background
Although BRU is a legacy brand in Belgium and present for over 100 year, people still don’t know that what makes this brand unique is the fact that it is ‘Naturally Sparkling’. Meaning that the water literally comes sparkling and bubbling directly from the source. Without adding anything (no carbon gaz, ... nothing). And the best way to express that was to show the brand asset of the BRU brand (a deer), experiencing the after-effect of naturally sparkling water.
Execution
A peaceful scenery in the beautiful nature of the Belgian ‘Ardennes’. A deer is enjoying the drinking of fresh water. When the deer looks up, suddenly he ‘burps’... And then gets back to drinking. Right after the ‘burp’, a headline appears: Naturally sparkling + logo, BRU.
Outcome
BRU the deer was one of the most talked about films last year in Belgium. Especially because everybody knows that local brand, but not everyone knew that its water comes naturally sparkling out of its source, right into the bottle. This was a way to transmit that message, brought by BRU’s well known brand asset: a deer.
