Description

With an automatic car you don`t need to change gears, we designed a website you don’t need your hands to navigate it. People could meet all the new features of the car only by moving their heads. At the end, they could download a Chrome extension to navigate any website in the same way.

Execution

We created a logarithm that turns head movements into computer action commands. This way, we launched the first website you can navigate only by using your head. People could meet all the features of the VW up! I-motion, moving their heads and scrolling up, down, left right. Furthermore, they could download the Chrome extension to navigate any website this way.

Outcome

The target was engaged with VW up! I-motion website. Two minutes average time per user. 50.000 visits in the first week. More than 100.000 downloads of the Chrome extension to continue navigating all websites with the head. And VW up! I-motion sales overpassed 30% the client’s expectations.
