During the spring of 2022 rumours started building that the U.S. Supreme Court were going to overturn «Roe v. Wade», that had protected women’s right to abortion since 1973.To Amnesty International, abortion rights is human rights. In the case that «Roe v. Wade» would be overturned, Amnesty therefore wanted to have a response ready. Our job was to find an idea that could mobilize people and put international pressure on U.S. state governors who still had the power to stop abortion bans.

The film tells the parallel stories of four women who in different ways are facing the consequences of stricter abortion laws. We meet a woman who’s become pregnant after a one-night stand and breaks the news to her lover. A a teenage girl that takes a pregnancy test at school and finds out that she is pregnant. A pregnant mother of three that makes dinner to her kids and feels overwhelmed by the thought of having another child. And a young woman who learns that she’s pregnant from an ultrasound scan and has a flashback that suggests that her pregnancy is a result of her being assaulted.
