OVERVIEW

Description

A mechanic discovers just how efficient Cillit Bang’s products are.

Outcome

The shooting of this film was a real challenge. The choreography which combines housework and dancing which has never been done before, had to be invented and each step planned carefully.

We needed to make housework, usually regarded as a chore, spectacular and enjoyable. Each step had to be to be both magical to watch but also "effective" in terms of cleaning. It took 3 months to create the choreography with two months of rehearsals, the director and creatives wanted to minimize the use of special effects to keep it realistic side but also "never seen before". The decor was then designed based on the duration of each "trick". The dancer didn’t adapt to the decor, but the decor had to adapt to the dancer. Some of the "tricks" in the choreography required more than three days of filming, the shoot took 15 days in total.
