Background
Re-born to be alive is a Belgian NGO encouraging Organ Donations. By law, all Belgians are considered as organ donors. But families often face this serious topic when asked right after the loss of a beloved one. So families can refuse the organ donation unless the victim officially gave his/her explicit consent.
Re-born to be alive wanted to raise awareness about this topic and help young people to sign up to become organ donors.
Execution
The one-of-a-kind image highlights the striking connection between organs and flower bouquets to spread a positive emotional response to such a theme. An interpretation of the message "Become an organ donor" that is the ultimate celebration of the gesture, its impact, and its appreciation. All this through a simple organ bouquet: this is the power of simplicity.
Outcome
Our print idea, which was published 3 times in De Standaard, combining for a total of 1.371.600 readers reached in Belgium.
Our idea started of as a powerful print idea, but quickly got picked up in the digital world - spreading through content creators and influencers with more than 270,000 followers on Instagram.
The immediate effect was visible in the sign ups on the Reborn To Be Alive program. Not only did the website visits triple, it led to a 50% increase in people signing up as a donor during the period of our campaign.
