For this campaign, it was essential to create a character which many girls can resonate with. For silkscreen printing, to colour CMYKB in separate layers is the norm. On an RBG based movie, to animate and depict the CMYKB’s colouring as desired is a very difficult technique. The director after many trials, developed a way to animate the CMYKB’s artwork on RGB base and enabled to visualize the silkscreen printing texture on screen. The illustration without facial expression gained empathy from many, and by choice, left the halftone dots and plate shift during printing so that it will give a warm touch to the characters. The visuals were then carefully animated to bring gentle female impression.
