OVERVIEW

Background

The brief was simple: Bell pure fibre Internet is the world’s fastest internet technology. So what are the ways we can communicate that with a piece of film? The first things that come to mind are ways to express the benefits of that speed, but instead of trying to say how much better life would be with Bell pure fibre Internet, what if we focused on how horrifying life would be without it?

Execution

With “The Rental”, a regular Canadian family settles into a vacation home that seems perfect in every way". And yet... something is off. In fact, something is very, very wrong. With a creeping sense of dread, they are finally brought face-to-face with the true horror at the heart of the house — it has cable Internet. With that blood-curdling discovery, the family flees in terror. Because once you’re used to Bell pure fibre Internet, anything else is terrifying.

Outcome

The campaign garnered a huge amount of engagement across the global trade press, including Little Black Book, as well as Shot.net, with an additional in depth "Behind the Work" feature also written by LBB. Against our LinkedIn social channel, organic engagement as well as re-posts were healthy and above the national average.
