If you look at the happiness index worldwide, most of the countries in Central South Europe are not scoring very well. The general belief is that these countries are unhappy. According to the Happiness Index Romanians are among the most unhappy people in the world.
Coca-Cola wanted to prove that Romanians are actually happy.
Execution
On the 20th of March International Happiness Day we turned some of our billboards in Bucharest into a social experiment that prove Romanians are actually happy. We transformed our outdoors into invitations for people to do small, almost unnoticeable actions if they are happy with something in their lives and help us prove that the city is truly happy. We shot people` actions with cameras placed on some of the billboards.
