Execution

Introducing “The shape of love”, a Facebook app that lets you turn your sweet talk into something more tangible: a 3D-printed medallion crafted to the digital shape of your voice. A gift to offer your loved one to wear and cherish. And a proof of love for those who need one.

Outcome

This February 14 more than 40000 people used the app to record their declaration of love and gave their feelings a shape as unique as the sound of their voice. Moreover, as many as 11000 beads and medallions were printed using the 3D print of their sound waves. In addition, over 21000 new likes joined the already existing ones on the NIVEA Facebook page.

But most important of all is that people could finally touch the intangible.

While NIVEA kept on believing love is eternal, technology helped us prove it once again to the more skeptical generation.
