Description
The Singing Stamp was a promotion for a series of Brahms correspondence. We wanted to give a sneak peak about the experience to expect if you'd attend one of the concerts.
When a Singing Stamp was scanned with a smartphone, it showed a digital preview of the show performed by the Flemish Radio Choir in a small 3D pop up theatre. At the end one of the vocalists invited you to buy tickets directly in the stamp.
The core of the campaign were the stamps, because the concerts are all about the correspondence between Brahms and Clara Shumann. We chose to activate via a medium that was relevant for the concerts: stamps
Execution
The stamp itself was the medium.
The objective was to get it known, which was mainly done by the PR effect.
The existence of the stamps was communicated via the Brussels Philharmonic/Flemish Radio Choir own channels (banners, postcards, website and own social media channels), and via channels of partnering cultural organisations.
After that, every piece of correspondence featuring a Singing Stamp as a little billboard to advertise the Brahms Correspondence concerts
Outcome
The series of concerts sold out.
The Singing Stamp made it to prime time news on national television and was pick up by other on- and off line press.
It was used throughout the country and even got a collectors item for philatelists.
The is campaign shifted perception about The Flemish Radio Choir from a dusty choir to a modern organisation.
