Our film takes place in an imaginary world but we shot the car in live action, so we had to rotoscope each frame to integrate it in our animated universe.

Then we asked real artists to paint this world, thanks to the motion capture, their movements were reproduced into the animated environment.

So the brush movements you see in the movie are the real movements captured in the real world, and every painting in the movie is a real painting achieved during this process.
