Description

To underline this exclusivity we teamed-up with the indie synth pop band Empire of the Sun and had them record an exclusive track : a one-off, never released and not available anywhere else, only downloadable in the very rare occasion two identical DS of the same kind cross each other.

Execution

The cultural idea is to metaphor a doomed love story to underline that two identical DS have the fewest chances possible to cross each other.

The original track “On our way home” was created by Empire of the Sun to tell the story of a doomed love story with their distinctive musical style.

We shot the whole music video and then cut it to 4 different pieces advertising 4 different DS limited edition cars to be released through all 2017.

Outcome

The two first DS limited editions (DS 3 Ines de la Fressange and DS 4 Crossback Moondust) were sold out within 2 weeks

 More than 40 000 attempts to shazaam the track…without success
