OVERVIEW

Description

66 million of the daily internet searches are for pornography. At the same time, there are practically no searches for information regarding female sexual exploitation in pornography.

So, we bought 100 URLs that are similar to the world's main pornographic sites. Thus, users who search for one of the pornography sites and make typing errors are directed to a video with data about pornography that no one looks for.

At the end of the video, users are directed automatically to a Google ready-made search for “The truth behind the pornography industry.”

Execution

After buying the 100 URLs, we programmed all of them to lead to the same page. On that page, users found a video in a vlog format, where an actress tells about what happens behind the scenes of the pornography industry. After being informed, users were automatically taken to a ready-made Google search. In that search, users found even more information that they had never researched.

Outcome

In a short time, people began to share the wrong links on their social networks as though they were real pornographic sites. Thus, the reach was beyond the people who made typing mistakes in the URLs.

A few days after the launch, the search about the theme raised 73%.
