Background

Providing readers with the best insight, analysis and inspiration to form their perspective has always been central to The Telegraph’s business model. Through continued investments, they create best-in-class customer experiences that deliver consistently across an expanding range of content, channels, platforms and products.

The challenge was to help inspire loyal readers and excite a new younger demographic to download the app through a social & print campaign, whilst bringing the Telegraph’s new positioning – ‘Think Ahead’ – to life for the first time.

Execution

Using Pate’s unique graphic style, we developed a series of vibrant executions that gave The Telegraph a vibrant new feel, in a departure from the traditional style. The colour schemes were inspired by the core colours within the Telegraph’s own guidelines and then pushed to give our executions distinction & stand out.

The process was collaborative throughout, with dialogue between the Telegraph’s editorial team helping to inform and update concepts as news stories progressed over the production period.
