Child pornography is a growing problem.
The Internet helps predators share illegal child porn.
So we used the Internet to fight back.
We planted decoy files around the web to redirect searches to landing pages where we gave visitors a warning and access to online resources about overcoming child-porn addiction.
We dropped cookies on each visitor’s computer and served them banners later, repeating our message.
We disrupted child-porn seekers mid-fantasy, removed their false sense of anonymity and offered real help. Our unique phone number received a record-breaking number of calls for help in the first month alone.
