Background

Thailand receives 25 million tourists per year. The most popular destination is Walking Street, where tourists once sought unexpected nightlife, but, to be honest, it has since become a tourist trap offering the same experience.This year, we're about to take the game to the next level!

We want to increase beer penetration among tourists in Thailand. Based on specific locations.

Idea

'Tiger Uncage the Walking Street'

offers thrilling 360-degree experiences for tourists across Thailand.

Experience authentic Thai massages, exotic cuisine, travel-themed tattoos, unique souvenirs, and the iconic Tiger Beer.

All year long on the five most popular walking streets: Khao San Road, Soi Cowboy, Pattaya, Pha-Ngan, and Patong.

Strategy

We defined our target audience as tourists. When they plan a trip to Thailand, guidebooks and information tell them about all the must-see sights and activities. Of course, they must visit Walking Street. These places are crowded with tourists because everyone visits them.

Why come all the way to Walking Street and do the same things everyone else does? Going to the same places, eating the same foods, drinking the same beer, and posting the same photos on social media? If you want a one-of-a-kind and memorable experience, you must have the courage to take a different approach—the Tiger beer approach. Because tigers do not like to tread the same path as others. Instead, they roam, explore, and establish their own territory.

This campaign will inspire you to 'follow the path of the tiger' by visiting off-the-beaten-path destinations and experiencing something unique and memorable that most other tourists will not.

Execution

Tiger provides unexpected 360-degree experiences for thrill-seeking tourists. We will create brand activation to uncage 4 top-of-mind tourist activities on Walking Street.

1.Authentic Thai massages:Collaboration with a traditional Thai massage shop with Tiger promotion for tourists who feel thirsty and tired.

2.Exotic Food:Pairing food with the most delicious street food destinations, such as grilled squid, barbecue, etc. Most importantly, Grilled Scorpion, a famous exotic food in Thailand, for the best taste when enjoyed with beer.

3.Travel Tattoo:Turning tourist tattoo souvenirs into Tiger tattoos empowers the spirit of the uncaged tiger. With Free Beer!

4.Unique souvenirs:There will be no more elephant pants! We have introduced tiger pants as a new symbol for tourists visiting Thailand.

At the outlet, we provided experiences for special occasions like Songkran Festival and Full Moon Party. Additionally, amplify all media in the walking street area. including 3D DOOH, POP in modern trade, and other possibilities.
