OVERVIEW

Description

To show brands the impact of their stereotypes we created a free image bank with real people. We joined forces with famous instagram photographers as they donate their most valuable asset: their photos, portraying real people, people we see everyday. And with 8 photographers we started tolerancestock.com our free image bank with common people, people that have been a victim of prejudice. All our images had a watermark on it, but not the one from our site, but the one that we all put on everyone, those that brand people and once they download the image the prejudice is removed from the picture showing how easy we can get rid of them.

We ask the brands to join the movement, but none has answered yet, even thou hundreds of people did on their social networks.

Execution

We created a website with the photos of famous urban photographers from instagram and it became a free image bank where everytime you download an image the prejudice dissapear. We used social paltforms of the musem, from tolerance stock and the personal social networks from the photographers to spread the word and we invite the commercial brands to join the movement, none brand has joined to the moment, but hundreds of people did, proving that brands stereotype people, but its people who can stop the discrimination.

Outcome

More than two thousand downloads at the moment and more than 500 thousand impressions.

The website stills up and every day new photographers join the movement.

The museum is planning an exhibition of the 30 most dopwnloaded images by the end of June.
