A grandfather and his grandson are holding a race all over the house. They have a great time while a voice off-camera recounts the famous fable of the Tortoise and the Hare. The hare represents the child, quick and cheeky. The tortoise represents the grandfather, slow and wise. The narrator tells us that in the fable, the hare won because the tortoise let him win…but that the real mystery is why hares (children) and tortoises (grandparents) enjoy playing together so much. At this moment, we see various images of real grandparents and grandchildren playing together. On the screen we see “Toys for children from 0 to 99”, the classic inscription that appears on toys and explains why older people and children play together.
