Description

VisitPA.com promoted Cabin Fever Month in January 2006, a two-for-one deal intended to attract tourists during the slow season. Ripple Effects Interactive created an interactive multimedia piece that introduced characters suffering from this wintertime malady and showed them recovering from it by getting out of the house to enjoy nightlife, outdoor sports, and weekend getaways.Cabin Fever aimed to convert potential travelers by showing what Pennsylvania has to offer. By presenting the offer and encouraging online bookings throughout, the multimedia piece was an invitation to fun.The piece targeted couples from 25 to 65 'culture vultures', outdoor adventurers, and romantics.
