An old woman is travelling in Paris. We see her wondering the streets of the beautiful city. Her voice over tells us about a summer long time ago, when she was travelling in Paris for the first time and met a man that became the love of her life. She describes the loving relationship they had and all of their beautiful life together. But then she reflects to herself that back then, she actually never took that trip because she cancelled her plans and never went to Paris. She laments because she lost the love of her life because she never actually met him.
