Description

As part of the second year of the MetLife Foundation ‘Multipliers of Prosperity’ campaign, we created a series of short films following their CEO across China and India. Over two-weeks, we shot four stories with some of their main regional partners to showcase the important work going on. For this film, in the North East of India, we drove nine hours to meet with people at a village who had been given grants by Trickle Up to buy essential grains, goats and invest in their own businesses. These rural poor people had seized on the opportunity and were supporting each other to expand their incomes and harvests, knowing that their hard work was setting up the next generation for a better future. It was inspiring to bring to life the Foundation’s commitment of investing $200 million over the next five years to increase financial inclusion around the world.
