We had several proposal's over the month for a standard Christmas mailing. This sounded too boring though! It took some discussions and months but finally we came up with a simple idea: combine Santa Claus with a Playmobil horse and create personal christmas cards. after this we started to roll out the idea with our agency: finding supporters and producers, calculation and roll out.
Outcome
We have no quantifiable results because we dont want any, we want decision makers and fans to be our partners. We have had a lot of really positive reaction. So the first step was made, a positive emotion to brand Win Race with horse racing. This was our success!The following our christmas promotion, we now use our contacts nearly everyday for business or other promotion issues. (for example, we send out a CC card format calender with all the race dates in Germany for 2009)
