The main purpose of our campaign was to emphasize the challenge of Rafa Nadal to beat Roger Federer in his third try at Wimbledon. All spectators know about Nadal’s superiority on the clay court, but Federer always wins on grass. The 2008 final was Nadal’s third try after the two losses in 2006 and 2007. We all knew this was his big opportunity. On top of that, in Spain we have a saying: Third time’s a charm (the third try is the definitive).Using the comedy genre, we showed Rafa as a boy who becomes traumatized because a teacher screams at him when he is caught stepping on the grass in a park. After that Rafa has not been able to feel comfortable on that surface. Thanks to an Argentinean psychologist, Nadal is able to confront Federer in 2008, in the final, and hopefully defeat him on a grass surface.
