In the spring of 2008, Dirty Track band appears on the Polish music market, professionally promoted just like other music bands:- We set up their profile at MySpace (a must-be for every music maker)- We published music video of their “Anarchy” song at YouTube and other video sites- Dirty Track songs in MP3 format were placed at key sites with free music- They perform live in the most popular TV show “Dance with the stars”- We convinced music websites to publish info about their new CD - We organised live concert of Dirty Track and signing CDs for fans at largest music stores Finally, a sensational gossip was spread and published by some media: Dirty Track may appear as a support band for The Cure’s concert in Warsaw. But that did not happen – the band’s role was only to promote the TV series!

Outcome

Within 1 month, Dirty Track became music phenomenon:- 1 Million views of videos at YouTube- Mentioned on 11,500 Polish websites - 170,000 visits at MySpace profile- fans recorded songs’ covers, guitar tabulatures, karaoke versions“39 and a half” gained huge audience (aged 16-49), smashing most optimistic expectations:- TVN station had 32% share of audience during series’ airing- “39 and a half” was among top 5 most popular TV programmes
