Instead of developing a regular measure, we created the unique Continental programming section 'The Technique behind the Goal' within the programme 'Eurogoals' which Continental sponsors. The best goal of the prior week is analysed in detail via computer animation from different perspectives. A voice-over explains the technique behind it. Viewers can vote for the best goal and win. It is accompanied by Continental crawls. The presence on Eurosport sites with branded microsites rounds the package off.
Outcome
This regional measure, with a CPT significantly below comparable local measures, primarily enhances the impact of local activities aiming to leverage the football association with small budgets and supports markets without own football-related measures. Achieving an estimated 240 million exposures per year on all men does not have to cost millions!
