In the last 5 years only, more than 50 cases of human rights violation have gotten away without getting any sentence. One of the reasons that cause the responsible parties to get away without being sentenced is the statutes of limitations.

We shared and sponsored the relevant posts on the relevant days via Amnesty Turkey’s Facebook page to remind these incidents on the exact days that they happened. We continued to share posts and give media support for these posts all year long, as anniversaries of other unsentenced human violation cases kept coming up.
