A family leaves home to go to the airport. Suddenly, a gust of wind whips Dad’s toupee off his head. The wind carries the toupee higher, slowly the inanimate object comes to life and discovers the wonder of flying. A famous song begins ‘Up Where We Belong’. The music reflects the joy our once grounded object feels. The toupee leaves the city, soars over fields and out to sea. Now it’s really hitting its stride, loving the journey. It swoops down as a whale breaches, before joining a flock of birds. As the story continues, even onlookers get caught up in the joy of the toupee and sing the famous lyrics in time to the music.
