For Valentine's Day, Burger King wanted to offer its beloved clients the solution to have a perfect date. A solution that will allow them to reconcile their love for their partner and their love for the WHOPPER.
Like sharing a drink. That's definitely something romantic! But unfortunately something you can't do it with a fast food cup...
To solve this issue, we had an idea, we finally find the solution to offer our clients a romantic Valentine's Day at Burger King.
We rethought the art of sharing a drink and created the Valentine's Cup. A revolutionary single cup with two holes so you can plant two straws to share your drink... and a little more.
To present this innovation we produced a very crafted commercial.
Execution
Planting 2 straws in a fast food cup may not look like a revolution for some people... But it really is one. Especially when you modify all the cups and all the lids in all our restaurants. We designed and produces 500 000 cups and 500 000 lids and distributed them all across France during 4 days.
To launch it, we adopted all the codes of a launch of an highly technological produc, with a beautiful 3D and slow motion movie to present this innovation to the world. In restaurants, everything was set to highligh this revolutionary Valentine Cup (posters, video above the desks, ...) and give our clients the desire to order one.

The campaign reached about 75 million of contacts.
