Background
Culturally, Vimeo had always been seen as a platform for watching videos. However, they recently pivoted their platform to focus on a suite of tools and features they designed to actually help creators with their videos. The goal of this campaign was to shift this commonly held perception with a strong, simple message.
Execution
In this film, we see a person or persons that are in desperate need of help. We watch as their problem escalates until it seems impossible to overcome. At that point, a super appears onscreen that says Vimeo Can Help. After a beat, an asterisk appears next to the super, along with an additional line of copy that clarifies that Vimeo can help “with your videos”.
