OVERVIEW

Description

Audi and Teads Studio optimised a TV creative for mobile, highlighting key A8 features. Audi wanted a different communication strategy for the A8 launch, engaging users in a new experience of voice controlled advertising. This campaign created a link between the innovative aspects of the Audi A8 and the advertising. The use of voice controlled advertising is a new approach to an interactive campaign and resulted positively in consumer engagement.

Execution

The inRead format appears within the publisher's article. The user then activates the microphone, by speaking to the ad, and saying the word of one of the 4 creatives, the user unlocks additional content and features. The spoken creative is a direct link to one of the 4 technologies. However, the user can also see the creative by touching the key word. The campaign was live from December 6 to December 12.

Outcome

The expectations of the campaign were to utilize quality and innovation, in an "out of the box" format. Wit this approach, the intent was to truly engage the user in a different way. Campaign KPIs include engagement rate and viewability. The outcome was we met the client's expectations, with over 2.5 million impressions in a premium environment and engagement that reached 50% higher than the benchmark. We also won the "Grand Prix de la Vidéo Numérique" #VNUM2018, in the category "Award for the Branding Video and Formats Awards". As long-term outcomes, Audi and Remind PHD partner for developing other innovative formats within a branding campaign, deployed on our most premium publishers, and to replicate this success in other countries.
