Before his mother died from breast cancer in 2003, he promised her he would get his university degree. After her death, he would call the answering machine at his family home, just to hear her voice.

At this point, he picks up his cell phone and makes the call again, but this time it’s different. Instead of hanging up, he leaves a raw, heartfelt message telling his mom that he has made good on the promise, and graduated from college.
